
Pierson Water Supply Boil Water Advisory Lifted
Customers of the Pierson Water Supply were notified on December 9, 2020 of a pressure loss in our system and were advised to boil their water before using for drinking. We are pleased to report that the work has been completed and the bacteria samples were satisfactory (contained no bacteria). It is no longer necessary to boil your water before use. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Pierson-A Small Town with a Big Heart
The City of Pierson is located in the north-eastern part of Woodbury County, in the Northwest part of Iowa. The current census information lists our population as 366. In 2008 the town celebrated it's Quasquicentenial. For over 125 years people have been calling Pierson home.
